Everyone is familiar with the gas detector. It is used to detect the concentration of combustible gas to achieve the effect of early warning. Generally, when installing the detector, it is installed by a professional installer, but not only during the installation of the detector Only the installation location and the installation environment need to be considered. These factors determine whether the gas detector can work accurately. Here are a few more common problem factors.

1. The toxic / flammable gas alarm controller should be installed in the fire monitoring duty room (non-explosion-proof area), and the location and height of the device should be easy to install and maintain.

2. The gas safety facilities in basements, semi-basements, equipment floors and high-rise public buildings shall comply with the relevant requirements of the "Code for Design of Town Gas" and strictly implement the following provisions:

a) The inlet pipe should be equipped with a quick cut-off valve;

b) Automatic cut-off valves, combustible gas alarm controllers, air supply and exhaust systems, and other automatic cut-off linkages should be installed on the pipeline.

c) The number and arrangement of the detectors should meet the needs of the gas-using place, and should meet the alarm when the concentration of natural gas leaking in the air in the gas-consuming room reaches 25% of the lower explosion limit and cut off the gas source valve at the same time. The area is allowed to delay action for 30 seconds, but the boiler room cannot be designed for delayed action.

d) The automatic shut-off valve should adopt emergency shut-off, the on-site personnel opens the way, no bypass is provided, and when there are multiple gas-using rooms, the partition automatic shut-off valve should be set. The automatic shut-off valve should have two-way control, one is controlled by the combustible gas detector controller, and the other is controlled by the exhaust fan. When the exhaust fan stops, it should be able to automatically cut off the gas source.

3. The gas water heater installed in the gas station should be equipped with a reliable smoke exhaust system and flameout protection and other safety devices, and should be linked with the combustible gas alarm controller, if the leakage exceeds the standard, the gas source will be automatically cut off. When the enclosed building with explosion risk in the gas station adopts forced ventilation, the ventilation capacity of the device shall be calculated as 15 air changes per hour during the work period, and shall be linked with the combustible gas alarm controller. The instrument control room should be equipped with combustible gas alarm controller.

4. A combustible gas alarm controller should be installed in the room of the pressure regulating station. The controller should be linked with the ventilation facilities, gas inlet valves and gas release valves, and should be monitored on duty.

5. Leak detection detectors should be installed in dangerous places such as pressure regulator rooms, compressor rooms, substations and distribution rooms, gas storage devices and gas filling islands in gas stations and joint construction stations. The combustible gas alarm controller should be linked with the power supply system of the gas station (except the fire pump).
