--Ji Xi Xiashu Tool Industry Development Seminar Held in Changzhou, Jiangsu
The National Tooling Committee and the Tool Subcommittee Technical Committee held a joint meeting in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province on September 25-27, 2011. During this period, the Xixiashu Tool Industry Development Seminar was held. The meeting was co-chaired by Hu Zuguang, deputy director of the National Knife Standard Committee, and Cha Guobing, secretary general of the National Knife Standards Committee.
Comrade Ren Xiaoli of China Machine Tool Industry Association introduced the domestic situation of the machine tool industry. Secretary General Hu Hongbing of the Tooling Industry Association of China Machine Tool Industry Association introduced the development status of the tool industry.
Secretary General Zha Guobing made the "Work Report of the Secretariat of the National Knife Board Committee 2010-2011". The meeting reviewed and adopted the national standard guidance document "Cutting Tool Data Expression and Exchange Part 100: Definition, Principles and Methods of Reference Dictionary".
The meeting also held exchanges and discussions. The delegates discussed and exchanged on the current international and domestic situation of the tool industry, the challenges faced, and how to accelerate the pace of structural adjustment and industrial upgrading.
During the seminar, Vice Mayor Yan Jianyu of Xixiashu Town of Changzhou gave a welcome speech on behalf of the town government and introduced the history and development of the tool industry in Xixiashu Town. Deputy Director Tan Xiangning of the Standards Department of China Machinery Industry Federation made important instructions on the standardization of the machinery industry. General Manager Wang Luzhou of Chengdu Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd. made an important speech on the development of the tool industry and the establishment of a public service platform for the tool industry. Comrade Shen Zhuangxing, honorary chairman of the Tooling Industry Association of China Machine Tool Industry Association, gave a report on "The Situation and Challenges of the Tool Industry". The meeting organized a visit to some tool enterprises in Xixiashu Town.
