How to apply potash properly

Potassium is one of the three major nutrient elements necessary for crop growth and development. The soil is often affected by the lack of timely supply and insufficient quantity of potassium.

At present, potash has been widely recognized by farmers, but if it is not applied properly, it will not be able to exert its desired effect. To achieve reasonable application and give full play to its fertilizer efficiency, under the premise of cooperating with nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers, the following five points should be mastered:

The first is to apply to the potassium crop. The difference in crop types and the ability to absorb potassium are different. Legume crops are most sensitive to potassium, and the yield is significantly increased after application. Potatoes with more carbohydrates and sugar beets, sugar cane, watermelon, and fruit trees, etc., cotton, hemp and tobacco in cash crops also require more potassium. Among the gramineous crops, corn is most sensitive to potassium fertilizer, while for rice and wheat, potassium fertilizer is relatively less. At present, limited potash is given priority to the potassium plant in the case of limited potash supply. Applying potassium fertilizer to watermelon can increase sweetness.

The second is to apply to the soil lacking potassium. The potassium content of the soil and the potassium supply can determine the fertilizer efficiency of the potassium fertilizer. The soil with low potassium content is prone to potassium deficiency, and the sandy soil with coarse soil texture has a better effect of applying potassium fertilizer. Therefore, potassium fertilizer should be applied preferentially to this soil to meet the demand for potassium for crop growth, and strive for better economic benefits. The amount of roots or tuber crops should also be increased.

The third is to apply to high-yielding fields. After the crop yield is increased, each harvest of the crop will take a lot of potassium from the soil, causing serious potassium deficiency in the soil. If it is not replenished in time, the soil is insufficient for potassium, which will obviously affect the yield and become a high yield of crops to some extent. Constraints. Therefore, potash should be applied to high-yield fields in order to fully exert its yield-increasing effect.

Fourth, it should be rationally applied according to the characteristics of potash. Potassium fertilizer has little mobility in the soil. It should be used as base fertilizer and applied to the soil layer with dense roots. For sandy soil, half of it can be used as base fertilizer, and half of it is topdressed. It should be applied as early as possible. In general, the amount of potassium needed in the early stage of crop growth is large, and the amount of potassium needed in the later stage is small, mainly relying on the redistribution of nutrients in the organs, so the late application of fertilizer is not as good as the application of potassium in the early stage.

The fifth is to use nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium according to environmental conditions and potassium application levels. When the crop encounters harsh growth conditions such as low temperature, drought, and serious pests and diseases, such as timely application of potassium fertilizer, it can enhance the stress resistance of the crop to obtain a better harvest.

Cell Culture Flask

The in vitro culture of cells and tissues has become an indispensable part of life research and practice. A wide variety of cell types are cultured, from viruses to bacteria and fungi, from human cells to animal and plant cells. Some cells and tissues can be grown in suspension, but a considerable number of mammalian cells require surface attachment. Therefore, in addition to good transparency, non-toxicity and sterility, the culture flasks, Culture Plates and culture dishes used to provide the in vitro culture environment of cells also need to be surface-modified to enable them to adhere, divide and grow.
