[Technology] Properties, Melting and Heat Treatment Processes of Cast Titanium Alloys

Titanium and titanium alloys have only been used for more than 50 years since they were industrially produced. Due to their low density, high specific strength, corrosion resistance, small coefficient of linear expansion, and good biocompatibility, titanium has a rich reserve in the earth's crust. Therefore, it has a wide range of application prospects, and it has developed very quickly. It has demonstrated its strong vitality within a short period of time and has become an indispensable material for the aerospace industry, energy industry, marine transportation industry, chemical industry, and health care. Titanium and titanium alloys are highly chemically active in the molten state and chemically react with commonly used refractory materials. Melting and foundry molding are difficult, resulting in complicated processing conditions and high cost, which limits them to a great extent. Applications. Therefore, the development and application of titanium and titanium alloys lag far behind those of steel, iron, aluminum, copper and other metals and alloys.

1. It reinforce old asphalt concrete road surface and asphalt layer, and prevents damage ;

5. It is sued for preventing contraction crack caused by new road semi-rigid base layer,and reinforces and prevents road surface crack caused by foundation crack reflection.
