Xinjiang Power Company Electric Power Research Institute Successfully Developed Photovoltaic Module Cleaning Machine

In recent days, the “first show” of the photovoltaic module cleaning robot prototype machine jointly developed by the Xinjiang Academy of Electric Power and Xinjiang University has been successful and successfully tested at the Shanshan PV power station.

Since large-scale photovoltaic power stations are mostly located in desert areas, the pollution of photovoltaic modules by wind-blown sand easily leads to a reduction in power generation efficiency and seriously affects the yield of power generation. The original photovoltaic module cleaning method is not only a difficult process, but can not guarantee timely and effective cleaning. The single-machine cleaning robot jointly developed by the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Xinjiang University does not require any transformation of photovoltaic modules. It can directly attach itself to the PV modules to automatically walk and clean, and can set different working modes. It can automatically leave the photovoltaic system when cleaning is completed. The component does not cause shadows on the PV modules.

At present, there is no mature automatic cleaning device for photovoltaic modules in China. Compared with other similar products under development, the cleaning robot developed by the Institute of Electrical Engineering has realized the intelligent and automated whole process of photovoltaic module cleaning. Through this trial run, it proved the technical feasibility of the cleaning robot developed by the Institute of Electrical Engineering.

It is reported that the Institute of Electrical Engineering will continue to improve the communication and centralized control system of cleaning robots, realize the remote control of the cleaning process, and automatically upload fault information, and finally realize the cluster control of the robot cleaning process.

The Barrier Gate (Boom Barrier) is used for the motor vehicles Access Control. Parking Barrier Gate is widely used in highway toll stations or parking system management vehicle access. Traffic Barrier gates can be landing gear by remote control, can also be implemented through the parking management system for automatic management.

A boom barrier, also known as a boom gate, is a bar, or pole pivoted to allow the boom to block vehicular access through a controlled point. Typically the tip of a boom gate rises in a vertical arc to a near vertical position. Boom gates are often counter weighted, so the pole is easily tipped. Boom gates are often paired either end to end, or offset appropriately to block traffic in both directions. Some boom gates also have a second arm which hangs 300 to 400 mm below the upper arm when lowered, to increase approach visibility, and which hangs on links so it lies flat with the main boom as the barrier is raised. Some barriers also feature a pivot roughly half way, where as the barrier is raised, the outermost half remains horizontal, with the barrier resembling an upside-down L when raised.
