Recently, entrusted by the Science and Technology Department of Hunan Province, the Loudi Science and Technology Bureau organized experts to carry out on-site acceptance of the Hunan Province Aluminum Alloy Semi-solid Forming Engineering Technology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) established by Hunan Wenchang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. After the acceptance expert group heard the report, on-site inspection, data review, expert questioning, etc., the expert group unanimously held that the center has focused on the major key technologies and strategic needs of the country and Hunan Province, increased the research and development capacity of the center, achieved remarkable results, and achieved outstanding results. During the period, all the target tasks were unanimously agreed to pass the acceptance check and the acceptance result was excellent. This was the first provincial-level engineering and technology research center that passed the inspection and acceptance in Loudi City.

During the establishment, the center completed the assessment objectives of the plan mission book and achieved a number of scientific and technological achievements. It has undertaken and completed 5 national-level, provincial-level and other scientific research projects, obtained 13 national patent authorizations, obtained 3 science and technology awards, established 2 enterprise technical standards, assisted in training 5 graduate students, and trained 95 technical personnel. Three pilot production lines were established, and three scientific research achievements were converted into sales revenue of 50.653 million yuan. More than 10 domestic and foreign universities, research institutes and well-known enterprises such as Brunel University in the UK and Valeo Group in France have established close technical exchanges and cooperation relationships. The relying unit attached great importance to the construction of the center. During the construction period, the newly added investment was 24,300,000 yuan. The capacity of the center for research, development, experimentation, testing, and engineering has been significantly improved, ensuring the normal operation of the center.

Through its efforts, the center has built a semi-solid aluminum alloy technology research and development base and technology incubator base integrating scientific research, pilot testing, and marketization promotion, breaking through the semi-solid ingot casting technology and carbonization of high-silicon aluminum alloys for automotive air-conditioning applications that are urgently needed in China. Forming technology of silicon particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites, research and development of new semi-solid forming technology for high-end components, improved semi-solid aluminum alloy material preparation, uniform heating of semi-solid aluminum alloy billets, semi-solid aluminum alloy forming, and aluminum matrix composites Preparation, processing and other fields of equipment research and development and engineering technology capabilities and levels; preparation and production of high-silicon aluminum alloy semi-solid ingots and high-end parts, silicon carbide particle reinforced aluminum matrix composite brake discs have been in the domestic vehicle air conditioning, track The transportation sector has been applied on a large scale to replace imports, breaking the foreign technology blockade and market monopoly.
