The Central Economic Work Conference was held in Beijing from December 5th to 7th. Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao delivered important speeches. Wu Bangguo, Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang and Zhou Yongkang attended the meeting.
The meeting proposed the main tasks of economic work next year:
