Line selection principle for oil and gas pipeline line engineering

According to the task requirements, determine the starting and ending points of the line and the gas receiving and dividing points.

The line direction should be determined according to the terrain conditions, geological conditions and environmental conditions along the line: the line should be taken as far as possible after meeting the position of the station and crossing point; the line should avoid the bad engineering geological area; the line should avoid the military, dangerous goods warehouse, station , docks, densely populated areas and nature reserves; the route should consider the transportation, residential areas, urban planning requirements along the line, to facilitate construction and operation.

Safety principles for gas pipeline design

The safety of the gas pipeline is through strict control of the strength, connection and rigor of the pipeline and its components, and runs through the whole process of design, equipment material selection, construction, production, maintenance and renewal. The strength of the pipeline is controlled to ensure the safety of the pipeline system, thus providing safety guarantee for the surrounding structures. The gas pipeline reduces the stress level of the pipeline according to the increase of public activities around it, that is, increases the wall thickness of the pipeline.


Classification of regional grades for gas pipeline design

According to the different regional grades of the gas pipeline line according to the population density, the strength of the corresponding pipeline wall thickness is calculated by using different strength design coefficients. The safety method is adaptable, the line selection is flexible, and the economy is reasonable.

The regional classification is based on the number of households along the pipeline and the intensity of the buildings. The division method is divided into 200m on both sides of the pipeline center line, arbitrarily divided into 2km and can include the largest settlement. In a number of sections of the number of households, the number of independent buildings (households) for living in the designated section of the section is calculated as the population density index of the area, to determine the regional grade and the corresponding strength design factor (F), see The following table.
