Cornerstone and Thundermin begin the 3,800-meter diamond drilling program

Cornerstone Capital Resources, Incorporated (TSXV:CGP) and its joint venture partner (50% owned by the joint venture) Thundermin Resources Inc. announced that it has begun a diamond drilling program for its 100% owned Whalesback copper mine that was previously commissioned. Includes approximately 3,800 meters of drilling in 13-15 boreholes. The mine was commissioned in 1965-1972 and is located approximately 10 kilometers north of Springdale in the north-central part of Newfoundland. The current plan is to delineate new copper resources, and because of its proximity to the Little Deer copper deposit, it will increase the total amount of mined mineral resources and increase the overall economic value of establishing new mining operations in Little Deer.
